The ManchART Foundation was born from a real story of life, resilience, and identity. An initiative created to transform the way the world perceives port-wine stains, Sturge-Weber Syndrome, and other visible conditions that have too often been surrounded by silence, misinformation, exclusion, and social stigma. Its founder, Sebastián Salazar, decided to transform his personal life experience into a platform for human and social impact. Through art, creativity, communication, and community building, he understood that true change begins when people stop hiding and begin recognizing themselves with pride, dignity, and self-love. ManchART addresses this reality through four fundamental pillars: education, visibility, inclusion, and creativity. Education to break stigma and misinformation. Visibility to give representation to those who have not been seen for years. Inclusion to create more human, empathetic, and diverse spaces. And creativity to transform personal stories into tools for inspiration and collective change. The ManchART community seeks to create impact not only for people living with birthmarks or Sturge-Weber Syndrome, but also for their families, communities, and environments around the world. Because behind every mark, there is a story, an identity, and a human being who deserves to feel supported, valued, and visible. Contact us if you would like to become an ambassador in your area!
